Have a subscription? Deleting your account automatically cancels an active Wayfold Pro subscription bought on our website through Paddle, so you won’t be charged again. The period you’ve already paid for isn’t refunded, except under our refund terms. If you bought Pro earlier through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in that store too (how to cancel).
Option 1: delete in the app
- Open Wayfold and go to the Profile tab.
- Optional: tap Export my data to save a copy first.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete for good to confirm.
Your account and synced data are deleted immediately, and the data is removed from this phone.
Option 2: request deletion by email (without the app)
If you no longer have the app or your phone, email us from the address you sign in with. The button opens your email app with the message ready; just add your account email.
Or write to quantumsynergysols@gmail.com with the subject “Wayfold account deletion request” and the email address of your Wayfold account.
- To protect your account, we only act on requests that come from the account’s email address, or that you confirm from it. We never ask for your password — Wayfold doesn’t have one.
- If you signed in with Apple and chose “Hide My Email”, tell us your relay address (it ends in
privaterelay.appleid.com), or email us from your Apple ID email and we’ll find it. - We confirm by email when the deletion is done.
Timeline
- In the app: deletion is immediate.
- By email: we delete your account within 30 days of verifying the request, usually much sooner.
- Backups: copies in our backups are purged within 30 days after deletion.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, display name, sign-in links to Apple or Google, plan and AI usage, and all sign-in sessions.
- Your Pro subscription bought on our website: we cancel it with Paddle so it doesn’t renew, and remove the link between your account and your Paddle customer record.
- Trips you own, with everything in them: destinations, travellers and their diet and allergy profiles, packing lists and outfits, itinerary, saved places, bookings, expenses and leaving-home tasks. People you shared those trips with lose access.
- Your memberships of shared trips owned by others — you are removed from those trips.
- Your personal packing templates.
- Your booking-import inbox items and your personal import address (later emails to it are ignored).
- Your devices’ push tokens and flight-alert history.
- Any pending trip invites for trips you own.
What is kept, and for how long

Data on your phone and the documents vault
Documents in the vault (passport, licence, tickets…) never leave your device — they are encrypted on the phone and are never uploaded to us, so we can’t delete them for you. They are removed when you delete them in the app or uninstall Wayfold. The same goes for trips you created without an account: they exist only on your phone and are removed by uninstalling the app.
Delete some data without deleting your account
- Delete a trip, traveller, booking, expense or saved place in the app — the deletion syncs to our servers.
- Remove a traveller’s diet and allergy profile in the trip settings.
- Delete imported bookings from your inbox.
- Leave a shared trip, or (as owner) remove members.
- For anything else, email us.
